Be consistent
All the banners/teasers/buttons should be in a similar tone and language. If the button says "Launch advisor" then the teaser should also say the same. Try to maintain the same color scheme and pattern across all these elements.
Be short and crisp
Try to keep the text at the minimum with a direct message. Adding multiple lines of text might get overwhelming to a viewer and might usually get skipped.
Prominent call to action
Always have an actionable teaser/banner. It can either have a clickable element like a primary button or the element itself can look clickable.
