I'm seeing an error message when trying to save changes in the Admin Portal. What can I do?

To ensure that your advisor conversations function reliably and end users have a smooth experience, so-called error conditions have been introduced. These automatically check whether the current configuration of the conversation could lead to issues – for example, that an advisor does not load at all or only functions partially.

If such an error is detected, the conversation cannot be saved until all issues have been resolved.

Below you’ll find an overview of all possible error messages as well as guidance on how to resolve them quickly and easily:

Questions depend on each other Remove dependency on each other
There is a test variant without an active question Remove test variant or have at least one question active for the test variant
A filter question depends on a ranking question when product results control is set to "show products after all filter questions” • Change filter question to ranking
• Update product results setting to show after X questions
• Remove dependency
• Inverse the relationship (make the ranking question depend on the filter question instead)
Question depends on inactive question. • Remove dependency
• Make the dependent question also inactive
Question from test variant A depends on question from test variant B • Remove dependency
• Make question depend on another question in the
same test variant or no test variant
Conversation does not have enough questions to show products • Make more questions
• Update product results setting
