Creating and integrating your product data feed: Overview of contents and requirements
Preparation
To use the Neocom Product Advisor, your product data needs to be integrated. This is done via a product data feed, which should include as many relevant attributes as possible. Even attributes that are not directly queried by the Product Advisor can be used in the background to help guide customers to the best product recommendations.
Requirements for the Product Data Feed
The product data feed should follow a specific schema and include important attributes such as SKU, Parent_SKU, price, title, link, and others. Some attributes are mandatory to ensure full functionality of Neocom.
For optimal performance, we recommend including as many product-specific attributes in the feed as possible.
Product Data Feed Template
Use the following template, which contains attributes, descriptions, and specific examples. Select the "DE" tab for the German version or "EN" for the English version.
- Blue-marked attributes ("mandatory information") are required.
- Gray-marked attributes ("product specifications") are optional but can enhance the product advisor.
Note: Before using the template, please delete Column A, Row 1, and Rows 3-6.
Data Integration
Once you provide Neocom with your dynamic CSV link, Neocom will handle the entire data integration process. You won’t need to manage anything further.
Your data feed will then be linked to the Neocom Admin, ensuring that up-to-date products, availability, and prices are displayed in the advisor.
