Gain deeper insights into your users and leverage this information for targeted, personalized marketing strategies
While the Analytics section focuses primarily on the performance of your advisors, the Users section shifts the focus to your customers who interact with the advisors. Understanding who your customers are and what interests them can positively impact every aspect of your business—from sales and marketing to logistics and product development.
With these insights, you can analyze your user data at will and segment it into individual personas based on specific metrics you consider relevant. For example, you might segment users based on how they answered a particular question, which advisor or integration they used, or which recommendations they received. These data points are invaluable for marketing teams around the world.
The Users section allows you to filter, search, and categorize every interaction history with your advisor. These tools not only help you manage large volumes of interactions efficiently but also allow you to discover patterns and trends among your website visitors.
User Views
In the Users section, you can view data based on the following criteria:
- All Activities
- Sessions
- Save For Later
- Feedback
- Purchases
Comprehensive User Profile
In the user profile, you can see information such as:
- Neocom User ID, Last Activity, First Activity
Additionally, you can enrich the profile with extra information like name or address by using our “Identify Users” feature in the Admin Portal.
Activities Overview
You can track in detail which advisors a user has interacted with, the responses given, and various metadata such as the device used, integration, referrer URL, test variant, and source. You can also see which results were opened, whether feedback was provided, or if products were saved for later.
💡 Note: Once an email address or a unique identifier is available (either provided by the user to use the Save For Later feature or supplied by you to Neocom), this information will be displayed instead of the Neocom User ID.
Features in Detail
- Save For Later: Here, you can also see which products were emailed to the user and whether the email address has been verified.
- Feedback: Shows whether positive or negative feedback was given, along with the exact feedback.
- Purchases: You can view what the customer purchased, the order value, and whether an advisor was used.
Our familiar filter options are also available in the Users section.
Application Example
Imagine you want to conduct targeted marketing campaigns in a bike shop. You want to send a special offer to your website visitors based on the type of bike they have shown interest in.
First, you filter the users who have used the Save For Later feature. This is the first step in your process. From this specific group, you gain two key insights: First, these users have interacted with your advisor, indicating increased interest in your products. Second, they have provided a valid email address, which is essential for direct communication. Additionally, you have extensive data on these users—their three preferred bike types and their interaction paths with the advisor.
By exporting this data and integrating it into your CRM system, you can send personalized newsletters to different personas created within Neocom.
Imagine your bike shop has developed four different newsletter templates to be sent via MailChimp to selected users. These newsletters are tailored to different bike categories: E-Bike, Mountain Bike, Road Bike, and City Bike.
By segmenting the users who used the Save For Later feature according to their preferred bike categories, you can send targeted, personalized newsletters. The bike shop could export CSV files of all users who indicated they were looking for an E-Bike. These files can then be uploaded to MailChimp to send a tailored email to this group.
This approach allows you to deliver personalized and relevant content, increasing the likelihood that your customers will engage with and respond to your offers. It’s an effective way to target potential customers and present them with individualized offers.
